Peptidci

Peptitler (Grekçe: πεπτίδια; “ıvır zıvır sindirilebilirler”) tanılamamlanmış bir düzende, α-amino asitlerin birbirine bentlanmasıyla oluşan kısaltarak polimerlerdir.[1] Bir amino asit kalıntısı ile öbürü arasındaki bağ bir “amit bağ” veya peptit bağı olarak bilinir.[1]

Tetrapeptit (Oligopeptit)
Proteinler polipeptit molekülleridir (veya çok nüshada polipeptit madun birimi çitndırır). Ana fark peptitlerin kısaltarak, polipeptitlerin/proteinlerin ise uzun olmasıdır.[1]

Protein sentezi esnasında her amino asit, gayrı amino asite ötümlü, kırılmayan bir polimer olan polipeptid zincirleriyle bentlanır. Polipeptid kuruluşsına yeğinlan amino asitlerin her biri kuruluşya peptid bentlarıyla bentlanır. Peptid bağının oluşumu esnasında amino asitlerden birinin amino grubu ile diğerinin karboksil grubu, aradan bir akarsu çıkması sonucu birleşirler.[1]

Averaj bir polipeptit zinciri 450 amino asitten oluşur.[1] Malum en uzun polipeptit, kestirmece 27,000 amino asitten oluşan, kas dokusunda kâin “titin”dir. Polipeptid zincirine yeğinlan amino asitlere kalıntı (residue) adı verilir.[1] Zincirin bir ucundaki kalıntı, bağ yapmamış, boydak amino grubu çitndırır ve N ucu olarak adlandırılır. Aynı şekilde zincirin gayrı ucundaki boydak α-karboksil grubu olan kalıntıevet C ucu adı verilir.
